Nothing is Impossible Ministries (NIIM)

Nothing is Impossible Ministries (NIIM) is a registered Scottish Charity (No.SCO 39592) dedicated to preaching and living out the Good News of Jesus Christ.

NIIM Vision

“Through the freedom that we have in Christ we glorify and honour God. We shine God’s light into the community through building relationships and bringing hope and fulfilment into the life of every person as Christ has done for us. We love others as Christ loves us and have a passion to share the Good News He brings.”

The four NIIM Trustees listed below have a vision and compassion for the Moodiesburn community, and after much prayer, established New Beginnings church, Moodiesburn in 2006 and have opened The Coffee House in 2009 as a social enterprise for the benefit of the local community.

Bill Wood – Bill has for many years had a keen interest in the people of Moodiesburn and oversees The Coffee House and gives community support both practically and spiritually.

Cathie Wood – Cathie oversees and manages The Coffee House and gives community support both practically and spiritually.

Graeme Adams – Graeme is involved in the activities held out with normal trading hours giving community support both practically and spiritually.

Nicola Adams – Nicola oversees The Coffee House and supports Cathie in the management of The Coffee House and gives community support both practically and spiritually.

THE COFFEE HOUSE

Our aim is to touch the local community with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ in a positive, practical and constructive way. The Coffee House provides an opportunity to reach out to the community in a relevant and practical way. It provides the community with a safe, child-friendly, alcohol-free, non-intimidating place to go. A place where people can feel free to relax and talk to people in confidence.

Local Christians are available at The Coffee House during the week to speak or pray with anyone. Whether they have questions regarding the Christian faith, other spiritual issues or general life issues we are happy to listen to them, pray with them and if necessary refer them to an appropriate professional agency for further advice or counselling. Christian literature is freely available and we have a bookstall selling Christian books and CDs.

THE COFFEE HOUSE VOLUNTEERS

The Coffee House is supported by members of the New Beginnings church, local churches and volunteers from the community who share the NIIM vision to show the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to the people of Moodiesburn. NIIM is grateful to all the volunteers who are helping to make this vision a reality.

This help and support both practically and spiritually will impact the community and show Christianity in action.
